Roberts-Gordon has three infrared heating controllers that pair with our radiant heaters to create ultimate comfort and energy savings.

The ROBERTS GORDON® CORAYVAC® Modulating Heating Control, the ROBERTS GORDON® CORAYVAC® Heating Control and the COMPLETE™ Modulating Heating Control all have durable enclosures for increased longevity.

CORAYVAC® Modulating Heating control provides additional fuel savings by measuring outdoor air temperatures to match system input to the building heat-loss.

Capable of operating up to two heating systems and four heating zones.

Total infrared heating system management through touchscreen, off-site connectivity, or pre-programmed thermostats

ROBERTS GORDON® Modulating Heating Control modulates system firing rate continuously (not staged) between 60% and 100% of total designed firing rate. For Zone Temperature Sensors, one sensor is required per each zone. Four zones total between two pumps are available.

Recipe for Efficient, Effective Operation – Just Add Fresh Air

Fresh outside air must be used for combustion on specialty fuel vehicle repair facilities. With a fresh air filter box installed, the system operates efficiently and effectively. Fresh air can be taken from pressurized or non-pressurized spaces. If taken from a non-pressurized space, a pressure switch kit must be purchased and installed accordingly.

CORAYVAC® low-intensity infrared tube heaters provide a fully engineered design and layout option for complete building comfort. Each application receives a customized infrared heating system featuring modulating burners-in-series.

Burners-in series allows for maximum heat coverage in the space, minimizing building exhaust penetrations. With a range of Btu/h inputs available, burners can be placed 10 feet – 70 feet apart for uniform heat coverage. 

Designed as a high efficiency condensing system, more heat from the system is utilized within the space. Lower exhaust temperatures provide energy and fuel savings, reducing the cost of high heating bills. Heating bills at bargain prices means CORAYVAC® saves money!

For optimal heater control, Roberts-Gordon CORAYVAC® Modulating Heating Control delivers the most diverse control panel offering in the industry. We are the only manufacturer that senses outdoor temperature resulting in the system truly understanding the heat requirement. Variable speed technology on pump motors drastically reduces electrical power consumption resulting in longer motor life.

Typical CORAYVAC® Industrial Building Layout

This CORAYVAC® infrared heating system layout utilizes four burners-in-series with shared tailpipe. This system offers maximum radiant intensity heating on the left and right, with added supplemental coverage through the center, creating an even radiant heat pattern.

Symmetrical systems are preferred because the vacuum available in the system branches are balanced and damper couplings are not required. This layout and additional suggestions offered in the CORAYVAC® Design Manual have been used extensively with CORAYVAC® infrared tube heaters since 1962.
